I am sure I have mentioned that music molds friendship and family. The creation of a band is one of the ways friendship is formed. We have seen the likes of Beyoncé and Kelly who found friendship from an All-female band to last a lifetime. Sometimes, the gift you get from music is family.
A band usually consist of a group of strangers who are good with music. They come together with different harmonies to make music.
The word band is from the middle French word called bande. Bande means troop. It is an ensemble of musicians. Raging from All-female band, Big band, Boy band, Christian band, Church band, Concert band, Cover band, Dansband; bands make unique music. The most popular band is the All-female band. It comprise of female musicians. Usually, all the members of the bands are mainly vocalists. All-female bands have been the most successful band that a record label or a producer can invest in. Following closely is the boy band. It is possible that the band was formed by friends who discovered their talents, or joined together by a record label who sees the possibility in their talents.
There are also bands of people who produce instrumentals. Bands like a jazz quartet is an example of an instrumental band. A jazz quartet is an ensemble of three woodwind instrumentalists and a chordal instrumentalist. An instrumental band can also be in form of an orchestra. An orchestra is a large musical ensemble. It combines music from different musical families; woodwind, string instruments, brass instruments and percussion instruments. An orchestra is one is the most beautiful ensemble you can listen to. The music would lift your soul and make your eyes wet with awe. This type of music is recommended to boost the mental health.
One issue with music bands is the break away. It is usually difficult to keep a band together for a long time. There is usually a possibility for a break away especially after the band has gained popularity. The break away is usually from the most talented of the band. After the break away is the downfall of the band. A band can never be the same after a member falls out. However, you cannot deny the fact that the break away is usually a good decision for the musician who left.
Bands like Little mix, the Backstreet Boys, Sauti Sol and Egypt 80 have stood strong through years. If you are in a music band, growth will come eventually, as far as you are consistent. So, again, stay jiggy!
